We are a non-bank lender based in the Sydney CBD established in 2018 by three mortgage industry executives, who together have over 50 years’ industry experience. Although the mortgage industry is a very competitive and crowded one, we felt we could make a difference by doing things a little differently.


Starting out, we focused on high quality tertiary educated professional borrowers by backing them to buy their own home sooner though an innovative 100% LVR home loan solution. That is because we knew that the key barrier to achieving home ownership is saving a deposit and that the ideal solution wasn’t The Bank of Mum & Dad. We also knew there’s a large group of creditworthy, tertiary educated professionals that may not have saved a full deposit, but based on job security and strong income can afford to repay a mortgage.  


Since launching the innovative 100% LVR product for professionals, we have expanded our product range and distribution footprint. We now offer a broad range of mortgage products for owner occupiers and investors with full product features and at ultra-competitive rates. We have a specific focus on SMSF loans secured by both residential and commercial property and are a market leader in this field. 


Our loan products are currently offered by over 5000 brokers across the country. We only use the services of experienced mortgage brokers and credit assessors to ensure your loan is handled with expert care from enquiry to settlement. We also manage your loan throughout its life and offer a modern internet banking solution to help borrowers self-manage their loan account.

Bridget is a passionate, respected and trusted senior business leader with over 25 years’ financial services experience.  A senior executive with experience in directing business growth, elevating brand awareness, increasing revenue, profitability and market share in the highly competitive and regulated mortgage and associated Lenders Mortgage Insurance market.

Bridget’s career commenced in 1991 at Commonwealth Bank of Australia on a graduate trainee program. She joined Genworth in 1994,(formerly HLIC and GE Mortgage Insurance), an ASX Listed company and leading provider of Lenders Mortgage Insurance, her career spanning over 22 years. She covered many roles from Credit, Operations, Securitisation, Sales and Commercial. Bridget was appointed as the National Sales Leader in 2004, where she first joined the senior leadership team reporting to the CEO. During her time in this role, she expanded the sales team from 18 to 28 and exceeded revenue targets by 25% year on year.  In 2010, Bridget was appointed as the Chief Commercial Officer where she led, developed and inspired high performing cross-functional team of 40, including Partnership and Distribution, Marketing and Communications, Product Management and Corporate development teams. 


Bridget holds a Bachelor of Arts, Economics Major, University of Sydney and a Graduate Certificate in Humans Resource Management, UTS. Bridget is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and has attended the Foundations of Directorship course, (AICD).



Craig is an experienced financial services executive with a focus on the mortgage and property segments.  He has a unique blend of commercial and legal/regulatory skills and experience developed across several roles including General Counsel (including responsibility for managing APRA relationship and Government Relations program), EGM Commercial, EGM Banking & Finance (Segment Lead) and EGM Product & Solutions roles at CoreLogic over seven years. Craig joined CoreLogic in 2011 as General Counsel, after 10 years in a similar role at Genworth, Australia’s largest mortgage insurance company.

At CoreLogic, Craig was responsible for over 90% of the product and solution suite across a range of segments including real estate, banking, mortgage broking, valuation, construction, wealth and government.

Prior to joining Genworth (previously part of General Electric) in 2001, Craig spent three years in London working at leading UK law firm, Herbert Smith having previously spent five years in Sydney at Dunhill Madden Butler (now PwC Legal).

With 20 years of experience in the residential mortgage industry, Craig has developed a deep understanding of the various component elements of the mortgage ecosystem, specifically best practice usage of property data and analytics, the valuation industry and the overarching regulatory environment for mortgage finance. 

Craig has a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Major) and Bachelor of Law degrees from the University of New South Wales.


Yianni has a wide range of experience in Finance, eCommerce and Digital Marketing. A jack-of-all-trades with a specific focus towards sales and business development, systems integration and process improvement. He has a unique blend of skills allowing him to fulfil almost any mortgage finance role along the acquisition, credit, operations, admin and processing pipeline.

Yianni joined Genworth in 2011 as a Corporate Relationship Manager in the Commercial team Major Bank segment. During his time at Genworth, he managed and supported customers such as NAB, Westpac (including St George, BT LMI, RAMS) and CBA. He was responsible for systems integration projects, oversaw application pipelines and managed key stakeholders within these organisations.

Prior to joining Genworth, Yianni worked for 9 years with a boutique lender that acted as a mortgage manager for Adelaide Bank and also utilised private, investor and portfolio funding to provide non-regulated mortgage loans to businesses and investors. Yianni was responsible for Application processing, credit approval and business development. During the GFC the company shifted focus and Yianni was responsible for collections, arrears management and property repossessions.

More recently Yianni co-Founded an eCommerce business specialising in procurement and supply of Mobile Tech equipment to Government agencies, businesses and consumers. Having sold this business mid-2017, Yianni started consulting for other businesses providing solutions for process improvement and increasing online presence and conversions.

Yianni is excited to be a part of Granite Home Loans, and is looking forward to helping a lot of like-minded professionals purchase a home sooner.


Paul has over 30 Years’ experience in Finance, Process Improvement and Project Management. Paul has specific focus towards Credit Management, systems integration, and process improvement. He has a unique blend of skills allowing him to fulfil almost any mortgage finance role along the credit, operations, and processing pipeline.

Paul joined Genworth in 2003 as a Senior Account Manager (Risk Underwriting) in the Operations Team. During his time at Genworth, he supported customers such as NAB, Westpac and CBA. Later he moved into the role of Operations Technical Manager. He was responsible for system change integration projects, Asset Risk strategies and managed key stakeholders within the organisation.

Prior to joining Genworth, Paul worked for 11 years with CBA. During this time, he held many roles in which he assessed credit loan applications. Liaised with external partners to deliver great outcomes for his clients. Maintained and conducted on going reviews on customers loan files to further maintain a strong customer service focus. Organised Sales strategies to achieve income and expenditure business goals. Produced and delivered reports on results to stakeholders. Managed Staff evaluation and training. Resolved customer disputes to deliver satisfactory outcomes.

Paul is excited to be a part of Granite Home Loans and is looking forward to helping borrowers either purchase a first home sooner or purchasing an investment property for later in life via their Self-Managed Super Fund.





Lisa has had over 20 years’ experience working in the finance industry and has extensive experience as a senior Mortgage credit assessor gaining most of her knowledge working within credit teams and financial institution branch’s as a Branch Manager. Previous to coming on board with Granite Home Loans, Lisa spent 6 years working within the Broker space and has a thorough knowledge of broker expectations when it comes to mortgage lending. Along with a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Lisa also holds a Diploma and Advance Diploma in Business Management.

From Telecommunications to Teaching to Firefighting to Finance; Michael is a language major with an open skill set and a persistence to match. Whatever the problem, he will relentlessly pursue a tailor made solution and adapt to the situation. Often handling the start and end of the lending process for Granite home loans, Michael prioritizes building effective professional communication with clients, and is often the first point of contact for many in their application process with Granite.

Starting with Westpac in 1988 and moving to Royal Sun Alliance in 1996, valuable experience was gained in credit and risk underwriting. Joined Interstar Securities/Challenger (now Advantage) in 2001 as part of the BDM team. Promoted to QLD State Manager in 2003 to manage the distribution and operations team. Other industry experiences have seen him involved with setting up a medical funding business and most recently successfully assisted a deposit bond company return to market. Grant is excited to bring his industry experience and knowledge to the already very experienced team at Granite Home Loans.

Danielle is an ambitious, highly motivated team member. Emerging from the semi-professional soccer field to the office, her experience of working in a team environment flows through and is reflected in her communication skills and positive attitude. She has a strong desire to make a substantial and positive contribution towards the success of Granite and prides herself on being a hardworking, passionate individual. She has over four years’ experience in business administration and continues to be driven on furthering her future within the finance industry. Danielle assists the team to serve our customers and distribution partners with the best service and customer experience at Granite.

Don has been working in the Surety and Finance industry for about 18 years. With extensive knowledge and experience gained, he is an expert in providing technical assistance and guidance on the underwriting policies. Prior to joining Granite Home Loans, Don was charged with handling the underwriting business from Enquiry, to assessment, to approving and issuing Deposit Bonds, for the likes of Munich Re, QBE, Vero and Lombard. He is a firm believer of great customer experience and service and is eager to bring these, along with his industry experience and knowledge to help in the growth of Granite.

Don is excited to be part of the growing Granite team and is looking forward to helping and meeting the needs from First Home Buyers to established investors through the Broker network.
